because the hunger takes over
because a simple pin prick will send me reeling
because this heart no longer beats

if you look into my eyes you will see no soul

I am no longer living
but I am not dead

although I have no pulse and my body has long

i may not be human, but i am
to some this is a curse, but to many it is a second
chance

beggars, murderers, orphans, & liars
this is our obsession...
