It was starting off as a bad day, Several reports had been dropped off on Josh's desk about disappearances and mysterious deaths by one of his eccentric agents. Behind his back they called him Spooky, because he acted so much like Mulder from the X-Files. Of course Josh had to explain this to the others the first time he had said it. Having grown up around his uncles Stewart and Chad he knew a lot about Hollywood in their days. Seen a lot of older shows and movies in his days. Something that Josh loved was a classic movie.
Another file had just been dropped on his desk and Josh looked at it with a shocked face. It couldn't be so, nothing like that had happened since well, his Uncle's younger years. He knew that he had to put someone on this immediately. This was something that he couldn't just tell anyone about. He needed someone that could get the job done quickly no matter the cost.
One person came to mind automatically. Paul Marshall. He was good, but would he be able to apprehend this one. Josh had a feeling that he'd be very tricky at best. He'd not want to go to Hendrick's and he'd put up a fight. However, Josh knew that Paul would be able to handle it, or so he hoped.
He picked up his phone after clearing his throat and hitting the intercom button. "Paul Marshall, please report to my office ASAP." he announced knowing that the man was in the office having just returned from a recent recon duty.

"I..just sat down."
His ass hadn't even warmed the chair yet and he heard the comm go out with his name in it. Arriving not fifteen minutes ago and already called into Hedgroves office was no surprise. He had submitted his report and intell on the first of his two recent cases and something just told him it was going to be another one. Either that or another 'question' on what happen to the two he dropped of at the asylum. Literally dropped off or more like drop kicked his sorry ass. People who manipulate the minds of innocent young women deserve even worse so he really wasn't worried about it. "Why, yes. That mark on his ass is the imprint of my left boot. Do I get reimbursed for the shit he left on it?"
He glanced at the half blank report form on his screen for a moment, tired eyes mesmerized by the flashing cursor. Paul then unceremoniously hit save and backed out of the document . After a heavy sigh and massaging the bridge of his nose between his eyes he stood and made his way to the office. No need to make the man wait. It wasn't his fault people wanted to act stupid again.
Paul made his way to Hedgroves door and knocked on it as he opened it, walking into the familiar room. "Let me guess. Some idiot is doing something stupid to someone else and lives are in danger and the secret of Heinz ketchup is at stake? Am I close?" He straighten his jacket and sat down in the chair across from Josh with a blank face.

Josh looked up from his desk as Paul entered and listened as the man made an assumption about why he had been called into the office. He couldn't help but to chuckle slightly at the Hienz Ketchup comment, but shook his head afterwards.
The door shut and Josh stood up making his way around his desk holding a file in his hands. "I wish it were so, but all joking aside, this is a serious matter, and I only trust you with it. You're the best agent I have, and I need your help. However, before I begin, I must impress upon you the seriousness of your silence. What you are about to hear does not leave this room. As long as you understand that, we'll be on the right track." He knew that Paul would understand, and that he could be trusted.
He held out the file for Paul as he began to explain the situation. "We've recently had an event occur that hasn't happened for over a hundred years. A non-trusted gifted has escaped from Clairebridge. The last person to have done that was Arlin the Arson. Seeing as he's been watched recently we know that he had nothing to do with the escape. I need for you to bring that man in as swiftly as possible. And by any means necessary. We don't know what he's capable of out there in the real world. Being locked up he never really got a jist of his powers, but he will, and fast I'm sure." Josh explained as quickly and clearly as he could. "I'm trusting you with this. If you need any assistance, contact me right away." he told him.

Marshall's face showed little emotion save for a lifted brow at the idea someone had escaped from Clairebridge. Not an easy task. The idea that the boss had asked him specifically was no surprise but that he had reminded him of the need for silence spoke volumes. Silence was a given in his line of work, but the reminder served as a hint to the level of concern from his boss. He took the file and began to flip through it as he talked, nodding in agreement not particularly at what was said but just a reflexive gesture to acknowledge something was being said.
A particular line in the paper he was reading caught his eye. "Organized group? Is this what I think it is? Wait, wait. Am I going after an escapee or fishing for leads on.." He just stopped, leaving the obvious statement unsaid.
"Right. got it." he flipped it shut, his curious mind itching to pour over the documents, but logic telling him to wait until he had more time. He refocused on his boss. "This is messed up. If I confirm what everybody's thinking but no one has the balls to say.... the shit's gonna it the fan." He tapped the file on his knee. "Three dead agents, boss. Three. I'm sure there's more to this, but I understand." After another pause he added, "I'm gonna need Bry on this most likely, not right away but I will need her to keep up with my every move and be ready when I call."
