In a sparkly, black sequined dress, Monroe walked the red carpet. She posed for cameras, smiling her best smile. She'd been forced to go to the big movie premiere by her agent. He told her she needed to get out more and definitely needed more publicity. Her singing was good and her ability to amplify her voice was incredible, but not many knew it was her. They thought it was a trick of the microphone.
The make-up artists she'd had to see before the big show had covered here in a layer thick of foundation, blush, and lipstick. She felt like an impostor. But she was a popular singer and people oohed and ahhed at her big at the premiere for "Sunny but Sad", a new cheesy chick flick. She wasn't even sure exactly who was in it.
As she stepped up to the doors, a little girl ran out of the crowd and in front of her. "Please, Miss Willis, can I have your autograph?" Monroe looked down at her and smiled. It was nice to see she still had fans of that age. Although, reconsidering, the young girl probably shouldn't listen too closely to the lyrics.
"Sure honey", she replied. She took the offered pen and paper and signed her name in a nearly inelgible writing. The girl beamed up at her saying, "Thanks, this will go for a lot on ebay" and ran off. Roe huffed and shook her head. She had not been expecting that.

Gabrielle saw her opening as she watched a little girl run up to the infamous Monroe Willis. She popped out of the crowd and got a great shot of the woman and child. It would make a great article, so she knew she'd be able to sell the photo to any journal or newspaper.
She was in hearing distance of the girl. She frowned as she listened to her. She thought, that must have really pissed her off. She couldn't believe the audacity of some kids. No one parented them right anymore.
A big, African American man came up to her telling her to step back. She showed him her photographer pass that stated she was allowed into the premiere. The guard let her by with a quick wave of his hand. And giddy with excitement, she found herself in line behind Monroe.

Monroe noticed the young girl behind her. She turned around, realizing that girl had a camera in her hand. The girl looked really young, probably just shy of 18 or 19. Monroe gave her a big smile and when she realized the girl was going to the premier, she went and talked to her. "Hey there, I'm Monroe Willis. What's your name?" She gave the girl time to speak while she looked around the crowd. There were others vying for her attention. Some wanted autographs more wanted photographs. A couple were journalists wanting to do a quick story on her.
She noticed everyone was dressed well and some made her envious. Although she had on a dress made by a well known clothes maker, she still saw some dresses that she would have preferred to wear. She was sweating under the glare of the lights and dress was sticking to her and making her uncomfortable. She wish she were at home in comfortable clothing like her sweats. But she knew the publicity of this night would make her agent happy for quite a time.

Gabrielle could not believe her luck! Monroe Willis was actually speaking to her. Stuttering, she replied, " my name is Gabrielle but my friends call me gabby. I can't believe you are actually talking to me! This is my lucky day. I am a freelance photographer. I have followed all of your work and all of your songs. I especially like your song 'Surely I Am Here'." Gabby felt giddy at being singled out by the infamous star. She wondered why the woman was being so nice to her. She absolutely loved the dress Monroe was wearing and she said so.
Smiling, she looked down at her own dress. It was a strapless, red satin dress that fell to her knees. She was wearing her favorite heeled shoes that were black with red in the back.
Glancing around her, she saw the envious stares she was receiving. She smiled sweetly back at them. She got a couple of good photos and was very happy with the outcome.
The line started to move and she waited for Monroe to move forward. She hoped she would be able to get a good spot near Monroe. She was having a great day already. Her mentor, Jake Clancy, would be very proud of her once she told him.

Monroe laughed at the girls enthusiasm. She also saw line was moving and moved with it. Soon she was inside the building that was hosting the premier. The girl's enthusiasm was infectious and she began to be excited about seeing the movie. She decided to have the girl sit next to her. She figured that would really make the girl's day.
As she entered the room, she noticed all of the occupants and it was a tremendous amount. She had a special seat assigned for her towards the front of the room. The screen was a huge white glare in front of her. Grabbing the the girl's hand, she started to pull her along. " I want you to sit next to me. I have an invite for two although I didn't bring anyone so I guess you'll be my second." She smiled at Gabrielle.

The night was young and Stewart was ready to be out in it. He had heard from his friend about the premier of Sunny But Sad and got invited to go to it. He was still currently working on his own film but he figured that the publicity would be nice, not to mention he had a friend that was in the film as well. Howard Gadine a long time friend that he had met during his first film. The two hung out a lot when not working on their own things.
Stewart got out of the car dressed in his Suit and smiled and waved at the cameras as the reporters approached him. He nodded and looked around to see if his brother was going to show up or not. He had told him that he was so he knew that he'd be there sooner or later if he hadn't already beaten him there.
He noticed two young ladies down the red carpet and recognized one of them, but couldn't quite put a name to the face. In his years he had seen so many faces come and go out of Hollywood that they all started to blend together. Especially when seeing the children of actors and actresses make it in Hollywood.

Chad had been begged by his brother to go to the premiere of Sunny But Sad and make an appearance. He had told him that making a public appearance may prompt people to become interested in their upcoming project. Not to mention the fact that Stewart's best friend was in the film.
Chad obliged and got himself ready to make his appearance. They pulled up behind Stewart's limo oddly enough and he shook his head with a smile. "See you in a few hours Greg." he told his driver before opening the door and hopping out of the car.
He made his way along the red carpet, like his brother before him smiling and waving at the cameras and gladly signing autographs for his young fans. He dismissed himself after a few moments as the line progressed more towards the building and approached Stewart. He tapped him on the shoulder and smiled over at him innocently as he walked around to look at him.
"I told you I'd be here. I always keep my promises. Were you worried? I saw you looking for someone. Girlfriend maybe?" he teased with a slight wink and a broad smirk. He loved to mess with his brother.

Gab tried to play it cool. She barely succeeded. "I'll take you up on that offer." She smiled. Her perfect, white teeth almost glittering under the spotlights. Looking around, she spotted two handsome men behind her. She gasped as she recognized one of them. She tried to play it off by coughing, but she knew she wasn't fooling anyone.
She was overwhelmed by the stars, directors, photographers, and singers that surrounded her. She knew she couldn't snap photos inside the theater, for there was a huge sign proclaiming it. So she just allowed herself to be pulled along by Monroe until they reached their seats.

Monroe turned at the sound of Gabby's gasp. It made her laugh once she realized what had caught the woman's attention. She waved to the men behind them. She had been around the both of them at one time or another. That's how these circles worked. She was on speaking terms with them and she hoped they got a seat near the two girls. They were brothers and both pretty nice. Definitely attractive, she thought.
She was able to pull Gabby into her seat and she sat into the one next to her. She was interested to see some of the main actors and actresses seating in the same row. A few smiled at her at the one next to her told her it was nice to see her again. She tried to think of the young, pretty actress's name, but it eluded her. She just politely responded the same and tried for her best nice-to-see-you smile. She glanced back to watch the two brothers coming closer.

Stewart was relieved when the line finally started to move. He was ready to just sit down so that he could close his eyes for a few minutes and get all the blinking white dots off of his eyes that seemed would be stuck there forever from the camera flashes. He turned to look at his brother blinking repeatedly as he made his way to his seat. "Tell me again why I come to these things? I swear if it were for my healing ability I'd be blind by now." he joked as he shook his head and found a seat near where Monroe had just sat down.
He looked around as the dots on his eyes slowly started to fade away he noticed Monroe off to his left and smiled over at her offering her a slight wave. "Hey Roe. Long time no see. How you been?" he greeted her with a smile. As he spoke to Monroe he noticed the girl beside her that he didn't recognize. He nodded to her and offered a hand. "Hey. I'm Stewart, this is my brother Chad." he introduced himself, just in case she didn't recognize them or one of them at least.

Chad shook his head at his brother's comment about the lights. Of course he had been around them for much longer then Stewart had and had gotten used to them. They were almost like they didn't even exsist to him. He chuckled and patted him softly on the back as they made their way to their seats. He sat down beside Stewart and looked over when he started to talk to somebody. "Oh! Hey Roe! How's it going?!" he asked when he saw her.
When Stewart introduced the two of them he waved and nodded. "It's nice to meet you." he said with a smile before sitting back and looking up at the screen. The lights began to go out and the screen adjusted for the right size of the film. He could see some of the main cast sitting in front of him and leaned forward to tap his friend on the shoulder. "If this is crap, you owe me dinner." he said with a smirk before sitting back again.
His friend turned to look at him with a smirk in return. "If it's not, you owe me dinner." he said before turning back to face the front and popping a piece of popcorn into his mouth.

Gabby watched the interaction with a silly smile on her face. She tried to snap out of it before the movie started but when she tried to answer back, she was shushed from several corners. Blushing she hid her head.
Clearing her throat a few times, she leaned close to Stewart. "It's an honor, truly", she barely whispered. "I'm a photographer here and my new friend here" she nodded her head towards Monroe, "let me sit with her very graciously."
She watched Chad lean over and talk to the star of the film. She had to cover her mouth to keep from squealing. Yeah, she had it bad.

Fanning herself from the glare of the bulbs, Roe was glad when the lights went out. She was still overly warm from the bodies packed in but luckily her deodorant held and she still smelled like floral perfume. The real expensive kind. Why she needed to spend so much on some smelly liquid was beyond her but she needed to keep up the pretense that she cared about such things.
She giggled at the smile on Gabby's face. She bumped her shoulder trying to knock her out of it long enough for her to speak. In the silence afterwards, Roe said, "Stew, Chad nice to see you two." She didn't bother to tune down her voice and she got several looks but once they realized who she was, they didn't say anything. She smiled delightfully at them.
"Guys, it's been forever. Seriously, what're you all doing after this movie? We", she bumped Gabby again,"could all hang out somewhere. I hear one of you" she looked back and forth from Chad to the lead actor,"is buying dinner. So if you don't mind me butting in head first, I wouldn't mind joining. Oh and my friend too of course."
Her voice had an uplifting tone to it. She was actually excited about hanging out with a large group that she could almost be herself around. She liked Stewart and Chad. They were fun, and hilarious, to be around. If you ever were down in spirits, you could call these two up and be amused by the way they chided each other.
She leaned back in her chair wishing she'd grabbed some popcorn or at least a coke before sitting down. But in this gown, she couldn't fit anything in her stomach anyways. She wondered briefly if she could change for dinner if they all went out together. She didn't want to make a scene by wearing such a fancy dress to a restaurant.
